Ithaca collection
designed by AMDL,
CIRCLE, celebrates
the expressive and
structural potential
of wood. Long central to
the architect’s practice,
wood becomes the
defining element of the
collection.
Shaped and crafted to create a presence that is both architectural and welcoming,
for Ithaca, AMDL CIRCLE developed a system of taut, tapered wooden diagonals
that transform structure into sculpture. The essential and robust design supports
table tops and seating elements with apparent lightness, generating a dynamic
balance between tension and stability.
